During the period between February and August of 1973 I was assigned to Ubon Royal Thai Air Base. Located approximately 500 kilometers north east of the capital city of Bangkok, it is about 60 kilometers from the Mekong River and the border with Laos. Below are some of the photographs I took of the city of Ubon, the Air Base and the surrounding area during that time.
